Mangesh Dhakde

Indian film music director Mangesh Dhakde is known for his work in movies like 'Hawaizaada', 'Family Katta', Marathi movie 'Aamhi Doghi', and the recently released Hindi movie 'Mulk'. Mangesh has a Post-graduate Diploma in Sound Engineering from the Film & Television Institute of India, Pune (2006) and Sangeet Vishard (Bachelors in Music) from Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, Miraj (1994). Born in Nagpur from a family of classical musicians, Mangesh probably learnt to sing before even being able to talk. In 2002, he joined the Film and Television Institute of India where he spent four years studying thoroughly sound engineering and cinema at a global level. He moved to Mumbai in the year 2006 and was looped in to compose for various feature films.
