Evocative and endearing, this multi-layered family drama revolves around the 50th wedding anniversary celebration of Malathi (Vandana Gupte) and Bhai (Dilip Prabhvalkar), a loving couple who have tried their best to hold their family together for a long time.
As they are based in Pune, they decide to golden jubilee by organising an intimate get-together strictly for close family members. They hope to find a way for their four children and their extended families to unite and enjoy. The elderly couple excitedly make arrangements for the big day, as usual having arguments over small differences of opinion in day-to-day matters. However, their enduring each other is clearly apparent as they share private moments of cherished memories they have stored over five decades together.
Their children and grandchildren are located in different cities and over time the family has lost touch due to unresolved issues from the past. However, the grandchildren i.e. the two young cousins are still close. They create a family WhatsApp group and plan to reach their grand parents' house together against their parents' wish.
The couple's daughter (Manju) is married to a significantly older man belonging to a different caste. She will be meeting the family after six long years, but will Bhai have the time to forgive and reconnect with her? Can Malathi fulfill Bhai's dream of reuniting the family?
