Upbeat and insightful, this family-oriented romantic drama traces the twists and turns in the life of Anasuya (Samantha), a beautiful young woman, who is the only daughter of wealthy couple Ramalingam (Naresh) and Mahalakshmi (Nadiya). She is an obedient daughter, who always compromises her desires for the sake of her mother, who is domineering and takes all of her daughter's major life decisions, including that of her marriage.

Unable to bear the tremendous pressure upon her, Anasuya breaks down and goes to the extent of trying to commit suicide, but she is still unable to change her mother’s mind. However, her father Ramalingam, understands and supports her, as he too doesn’t dare to go against Mahalakshmi.

When her mother goes to Chennai for some work, Ramalingam secretly sends his daughter to her aunt’s house in Kaluvapudi village near Vijayawada. Here she meets Anand (Nithiin) and falls in love.

Meanwhile, a local landlord (Rao Ramesh) tries to force Anand to get married to his daughter Naga Valli (Anupama Parameshwaran). Anasuya likes the atmosphere in the village and the affection she receives. She also comes to know that Anand is her own brother-in-law and there are some misunderstandings between the two families. The rest of this heartwarming tale revolves around how Anasuya and Anand work towards reuniting their extended family.
