Zindagi Aur Khwab (1961)

Shanti was orphaned at a young age and was adopted by her Aunt who mistreated her. Shanti was delighted upon news of her marriage and thought of it as an escape from her current situation. Shanti gets married to Shankar but discovers his evil side, when he ends up killing a dancer woman and in a fit of escape he steers his car into the waters and was declared dead. Shanti becomes a widow and her life becomes more miserable, during which she meets a man and they both fall in love with each other. Will their relationship get sabotaged by Shankar who is very much alive!
