Yegire Pavurama (1997)

This socially-relevant relationship drama follows the fluctuating fortunes in the life of Jyothi, a beautiful young woman. She meets and falls in love with Balu, a sincere man, and the young lovers plan to marry.

However, Jyothi is deeply shaken and traumatised when a friend Yashodha's husband tries to sexually molest and assault her. How will Balu react when he learns of this terrible incident? Will he stand by her and marry her against all odds? Will the perpetrator be brought to justice?
