High school freshman Hodaka Morishima leaves his home and leaves to Tokyo where he lives his days in isolation. He finds a steady job as a writer at a shady occult magazine. While on a bus ride he gets a realization that its been raining for days and he incidentally meets Hina Amano, a girl who has the magical ability to stop the rains and clear the sky.
