Haridas Hema's son, Abhinav, turns into a junkie at Marthoma Higher Secondary School. After killing his father during a confrontation, Abhi is sent to an observation home but escapes on Superintendent Alex Kuryan's first day. With Dr. Meera's help, Kuryan aims to rehabilitate him. Following a critical accident, Abhi is hospitalized and visited by his mother, sister, and lover Seethal. Upon recovery, he returns home, having written a Booker Prize-winning novel in jail, and lives happily with his family and Seethal.
