Where did you watch this movie?

Brilliantly shot and lavishly mounted by director Mukul Anand, 'Trimurti' reveals the story of three brothers (played by Jackie Shroff, Anil Kapoor and Shahrukh Khan). These three charismatic and powerful young men have been brought up in the absence of their mother, Satyadevi. She was an exemplary policewoman, who, in a cruel twist of fate was sentenced to jail 18 years ago, through the villainous machinations of Kooka Singh. Kooka’s aim is to destroy the Trimurti, and reverse the prophecy that determines his death at the hands of the three brothers. A time comes, when the mother is released and faces Kooka Singh with her lost sons, under the most eerie circumstances.

Aditya Pancholi was initially given role of Anand but Subhash Ghai replaced him with Anil Kapoor. Pancholi reportedly began to make threatening phone calls to Kapoor over the role. The police got involved and Pancholi confessed to making the calls.

Sanjay Dutt originally signed for the role of Anand and even shot some scenes, but the role had to be recast when he was arrested.

Aamir Khan was offered the role of Romi but turned it down because he considered it too small.
