Liu Lu leads a dreary and seemingly mundane life, working at a deer breeding farm and her friend Ma Hai struggles to win her affections. Seeming as though she is ardent in cutting herself from any human warmth, Ma hHai confesses to know another version from themselves in a ‘parallel world’. Liu Lu tries to learn about her other self in an attempt to uncover her long-suppressed memories of her past.
