Daniel Forrester, a troubled psychiatrist is brought in to help a mysterious patient in the emergency psych ward in a catatonic state with no memory of how he reached the hospital. The doctor tries to break through to the patient a spate of mysterious deaths shake the hospital to its core, Forrester comes to suspect that he has unleashed some desperate race against the forces of evil that threatens to swallow him as a whole.
