During the Tunisian war, a political prisoner Mohamed escapes captivity and returns to his native town and find his fiance Hourya who has wed another. After reaching his native town Thala, Mohamed witnesses another laughter and helps a young man to the hospital while being captured on video that gets released on Facebook. A married Hourya is married to a man whom she doesn't love as she hatches a plan to fight against Ben Ali. After learning the truth about Mohamed whom she presumed was dead, Hourya decides to leave her husband and reunite with her lover.
