Innocent girl Tuku has always believed that she is unremarkable and lacks special talent. Her father wants to get her married, but her unassuming nature leads to a lot of rejections. Eventually, a respected family from Kolkata agree to have her married to their son, but on the condition that she be an expert in knitting. Tuku's father lies and tells them that she can knit, after which he sends her to a relative's house to learn knitting. But here, Tuku undergoes a transformation as she makes interesting friends and falls in love with an impressionist.
