Soorya Gayathri (1992)

This intense action of drama revolves around the struggles and strife in the life of Dr Balasubramaniam, a dedicated man who has learned to deal with the tragedy in his life. He was married at the young age of 17, but tragically, became a young widower at just 20, with a child in his arms. Years later, his teenage son lives with his unconditionally loving and caring father, who has been both mother and father to him. Given freedom and self-confidence by his father, he refuses to walk in the same part as his father did, rejecting medicine as a profession, and choosing to go to an engineering college. In a cruel twist of fate, Dr Balasubramanian's lively son is accidentally killed by his seniors, during an especially sadistic ragging session. The second tragic loss in his life traumatise this the Dr to the extent that he decides to avenge his son's death against the youngsters who caused it. What tactics will he employ to exact revenge on those responsible for his beloved son's murder?
