Rajesh is a famous star and had achieved everything an actor would hope for! But he plans to conquer new fields and decided to produce the successful stage play 'Sitaron se aage', but was searching for a heroine who would fit the role well. Rajesh while travelling to a gambling den found Kanta, who was a dancer there and decided to pay her unpaid uncle's debts which tied her there and recruited her as the lead actress. Rajesh proceeded to produce he play, but his heroine and production was envied by another heroine Rajni and understudy Mohan who together plotted to destroy the play. They succeed as they take Rajesh out of the way, but their plan only halfway succeeded as Kanta became a roaring success. Rajesh returns back from the hospital but has lost his fame, and was branded not fit enough to even direct. What will happen to this ambitious star after this devastating accident??
