Evocative and entertaining, this family-oriented romantic drama delves into the struggles and sacrifices of three men – Shankar, Salim and Simon. Even though they are from completely different religious backgrounds, they are totally united in their efforts to reform society and spread the message of tolerance and love in the world. Simon (Rajinikanth) and Salim (Jaiganesh) are from working class families, while Shankar (Vijayakumar) and his sister (Latha) are the children of (V. S. Raghavan), a corrupt but extremely wealthy businessman. When Latha falls in love with Simon, the young lovers are met with objections and rejection. When her father forces for to marry against her will, she runs away to live with Simon. Simon is helped and protected by Shankar and Salim steadfastly, and the three of them team up to prove their enemies wrong. The question remains, is there a bond much deeper than just friendship that connects these three men?
