I was on vacation in Warsaw 6 weeks ago and had the good fortune of attending the Focus East Europe Film Festival. "Scent of My Daughter", was a compelling film that brought tears to my eyes. The acting was superb. The music was mesmerizing and the scenery and story were quite moving. Its nice to view a film that deals with real events from various parts of the world. It had a cinema verite feel and having to read subtitles for half the film ended up a pleasure. I felt like I was right inside the refugee camp. I highly urge everyone to view this film when it plays in a theatre nearby.
