Saaho is all about the feud between members of world's biggest crime syndicate, based out of Waaji city, somewhere away from India. Some of the over ambitious members of the gang finish off Roy, their leader, in order to get their hands on a secret black box to become billionaires. Meanwhile, cops in India are after a smart thief who looted two lakh crore rupees. The team is headed by Ashok and Amrita. After thorough investigation, it's revealed that there's a link between the huge sum and Waaji city. The arrival of Vishwa, the son of Roy, makes the plot more intriguing as he sets out to find his father's murderer and the lost money in India.

Trivia:
The makers of this film had spent a whooping amount of 70 crores on an 8-minute action sequence involving Prabhas, making it the highest ever budget spent on a single scene in the history of Indian cinema.

Nearly 120 cars have been used for the action sequences in this film, where only for the Abu Dhabi chase scene - 56 cars and a specially-made truck were used.

The climax scene was shot with a team of 100 fighters who were hired from across the world.

It took two years and Rs 65 crores for art director Sabu Cyril to create the fictional universe for Saaho which is inspired by Gotham and modelled on the city of Abu Dhabi.

Sabu Cyril and Sujeeth hand-picked a team of 300 artists, including visual effects artistes and digital compositors, for the task of creating the Saaho universe. Sabu and his team had created the interiors of the neo-futurist architectural structures from scratch at Hyderabad.

Prabhas learnt Hindi and rendered his own lines for the Hindi version of the film.

Filmed simultaneously in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu, this film marks Prabhas debut in Hindi cinema.

This film's teaser broke the records for most watched teaser of Telugu, Malayalam & Hindi language teasers.
