Rechipo (2009)

This thrilling crime drama traces the twists and turns in the life of Shiva, a talented thief. He uses his skills to rob the wealthy and corrupt of their accumulated black money and uses it for the education of orphans and other good causes.

On one occasion, the police crack a major cricket betting racket mafia and get vital information about Rs 500 crores through one of the gang members. However, the highly corrupt Home Minister (Ahuti Prasad) transfers the commissioner (Bhanu Chander) and grabs the money. He conceals the money in the overhead water tank of his house. Learning about this secret information, Siva robs the money and escapes. In the process, he lands in a marriage party along with an old woman (Ramaprabha).

While on their way to the venue, Siva accidentally meets Krishnaveni (Ileana) near a petrol pump. Soon, both fall in love with each other. Just as Shiva decides to admit his true profession to Krishna, everyone comes to know and she ends up leaving in frustration and fury.

Heartbroken, Krishna decides to go to Dubai to stay with her friend, only to be kidnapped by a criminal gang. Later the Home Minister gets a call from the mafia don Shakur Ahmed demanding the release of four of his group members besides the Rs 500 crore cash. Following a suggestion by the Commissioner, the Home Minister agrees to send Shiva on a rescue mission, thereby saving himself Rs. 500 crores in cash. How will Shiva find Krishna? What ingenious strategy will he employ in order to help her escape to safety? Will he succeed against the tremendously powerful Shakur Ahmed?
