This action-oriented crime thriller revolves around Gautam Subramanium (Jayam Ravi), a doctor from an Indian family who lives in Chennai. Two weeks prior to his wedding, Gautam gets an opportunity to travel to Russia, as one of five Indian representatives at the week-long medical conference. In a twist of fate, Gautam becomes involved with drug smuggler Anna, without any idea about her true identity. One morning he awakens to find Anna dead. He only has a few days to find the real murderer, prove his innocence and return home to get married. Can he succeed in this seemingly insurmountable task with all the odds stacked against him, including his lack of knowledge of the Russian language?

This movie was co-written and directed by cinematographer Jeeva, and became the last movie he worked on before his death which occurred halfway through the production. The film, released as a tribute to Jeeva, was completed by his assistant G.K.Manikandan, and his wife Anees, and was overseen by cinematographer P. C. Sriram.
