Puli Vaal (2014)

This film revolves around the lives of two very different people. On one end is Karthik (Prasanna), who exploits the rich, is employed in the IT sector in Chennai and wants to be successful at any price. He typically moves around in plush chauffeur driven cars, uses state-of-the-art phones, and flirts with telemarketing girls. He has a full-fledged affair with his subordinate, even though he is preparing to be engaged to his family friend's daughter.

On the other end is Kasi (Vimal), who lives in a slum and works in a supermarket doing odd jobs and plays the errand-boy for his supervisor. His lifestyle is frugal and unchanging. Kasi has a soft corner for his co-worker, and she reciprocates his feelings as well.

The film reaches a turning point as soon the subordinate learns that Karthik is getting engaged to his family friends daughter. They fight and Karthik's cell phone slips out of his hand and he forgets to pick it up. The phone accidentally reaches the hands of Kasi and he decides to keep it as his treasure. Karthik starts to worry about his lost phone, as it contains some private information of his, that he fears would be leaked in public. He tries to reach the finder by making continues calls to the lost phone, but it remains off and he gets terribly frustrated.

Later Kasi attends a call from Karthik, but is not convinced to return it. Unable to decide, he buckles under pressure. Selvi, his co-worker notices the sudden change in Kasi and tries to find out the reasons.On persuasion, Kasi reveals everything. Realizing the seriousness of the matter, Selvi suggests Kasi to return the phone to its rightful owner.

In a twist of fate, the contents on Karthik's phone get leaked, without Kasi's knowledge and makes Karthik very violent. He chases Kasi down, who now feels responsible for something he did not do, and physically fights him out.

Will Kasi explain what happened? Will Karthik be able to forgive Kasi? Will they discover the real culprit?
