Pranab Kanti Purkayastha

Dr. Pranab Purkayastha started his creative journey by writing a documentary "Cattle Wealth of North East" in 1982 for the Film Division of India. He worked as Associate Director in several films and documentaries, notably "The Illustrated Manuscripts of Assam" which was the first Documentary in Assam to participate in multiple international film festivals. Later, working as the Executive Producer for the first feature film in Khashi language "Manik Raitong" The won the National Award and the film was selected in Indian Panorama at Tokyo film festival in1985. After balancing his flourishing corporate career, he debuts as the Producer of the feature film Chitrakor.
