Venkateswara Rao is an honest politician, who is chosen by the party to become the Chief Ministerial candidate, but with the help of corrupt businessmen, Dashakanta Rao becomes the Home Minister.

When an investigative journalist speaks against the illegal activities like prostitution that take place under the purview of Dashakanta Rao, the journalist is assaulted and given police protection. The honest and fearless police officer is the SP of the city, Krishna Chaitanya, IPS.

Dashakanta Rao's daughter, Bharathi falls in love with Krishna Chaitanya, but later finds out that he has a paraplegic wife, Sudha and a son. When Krishna Chaitanya becomes aware of the rampant criminal activities spearheaded by Dashakanta Rao and his supporters, they become enemies. Krishna Chaitanya vows to expose Dashakanta Rao and bring him down from his position of power. Will he succeed in his mission? How will he protect his family against Dashakanta Rao's wrath?
