This suspenseful thriller sparks off when Mr Deena Nath, a wealthy businessman purchases an old mansion and begins to stay in it. The caretaker of the mansion is Sadhwa.
When strange, seemingly paranormal incidents begin happening around him, Deena Nath is forced to wonder if the mansion may be haunted. On the stormy night during which he arrives, a middle-aged woman becomes his guest. She seems to be the previous owner of the mansion.
In flashback, it is revealed that she is Vidya, the wife of Thakur, a wealthy man who is infatuated with Gazra Bai, a dancer who satiates the desires of many clients. Dharam Das is another of her wealthy clients, who is insulted by Thakur.
When Vidya becomes pregnant, Thakur decides to correct his erroneous ways and remain true to her. However, just as Vidya delivers a baby boy, Thakur dies in a vehicular accident. Vidya's son grows up into Sunil Thakur, a talented and outstanding young man who excels in all aspects of life. Sunil and Seema, his classmate are deeply in love.
However, Dharam Das incites Shekhar, a smuggler to embroil Sunil in his illegal smuggling. Sunil is then forced to steal an invaluable and ancient statue of Lord Nataraja from the Royal family. While Sunil does so under threat, he also tries to retrieve the statue and inform the police.
However, in the process, Sunil is shot dead. Unable to live without him, Seema also dies and her restless spirit begins to haunt the mansion. Will Vidya succeed in exacting revenge upon those responsible for their deaths? How will Deena Nath's future unfold?
