The film is about Pandian (Rajinikanth) who wants to avenge the death of his sister's (Jaysudha) husband's ( Charan Raj) death, so he joins the murderer's gang and begins an undercover operation to expose the kingpins of the criminal network. As it turns Pandiyan is a police officer who is extremely well-trained and the rest of the story delves into how he exacts revenge on those who caused the death of his relatives.
