Also, this evocative tale presents the poignant love story of Meera (Sabitha Jayaraj) and her relentless fight against her own family and society for the man she love. Meera falls in love with Thomas (Jayaram), a social activist who is falsely accused of a political murder and sent to jail.
Although Thomas is innocent, he accepts the verdict against him for his political party. Will Meera succeed in proving Thomas' innocence and setting him free against all odds?
