Oliyambugal (1990)

This evocative drama revolves around Arackal Baby Mathew, in extremely wealthy man who leads an aimless life as an alcoholic. He is uncouth and out of control, but he's also honest and fearless. He speaks out openly against his father, who is a minister and the leader of a political party founded by Baby's grandfather. Automatically, he creates many problems for corrupt politicians and turns many enemies, both within the family and otherwise. When he speaks out against the nexus between corrupt politicians, police officers and the underworld, he finds himself in a dangerous situation. Also, he gets into a relationship with Usha, whose parents reject their bond citing the difference in their social economic strata. However, Usha is a bold woman, who chooses to stand with him through thick and thin. Will Baby change his ways, become passionate about helping the people and raise his voice against corruption? Can he succeed in defeating his enemies and ensure that all the criminal elements are defeated, even if they may be in his own family?
