Nindu Noorellu (1979)

Gopi is a smart and sweet youngster, who excels at both academic and extracurricular activities. He has a loving mother, Sita but yearns for his father, who is absent. She tells him that his father is abroad, so Gopi begins to hope and pray for his father's return more fervently.

in truth however, Sita was exploited and betrayed by a man who made her pregnant, but refused to acknowledge their relationship. As Gopi's need for his father turns into an obsession that makes him critically ill, Sita's position becomes more and more precarious, until she is forced to beg Gopi's father to save his life. Will Gopi's father have a change of heart? Or will Sita's true love come to her rescue?
