This socially relevant romantic drama revolves around Murali Krishna, a wealthy businessman who leads a luxurious and carefree life, spending most of his time with wine and women.
On one occasion, Murali Krishna's driver casually gives a lift to Krishnaveni, a beautiful young woman who works as a dance teacher in a drama company and lives with her widowed mother. His action causes rumours and gossip about the nature of her relationship with Murali Krishna to spread like wildfire.
In the meantime, the owner of the drama company encourages her to take advantage of her apparent connection with Murali Krishna, in the hopes of getting a sizeable donation or financial support from him.
