The movie starts with SJ Suryah working in EB department has two goals - first is to buy a house and marry a girl. When both his wishes get accomplished, a rat comes into his life which irritates and tortures him to the core. Being brought up by the values of Vallalar, hero doesn't want to kill the rat. However one day he catches the rat but did not kill it, but the rat returns to the house again. Whether The hero is escaped from the Rat's notorious activity forms the rest of the plot.
