Mizhineer Poovukkal (1986)

This offbeat psychological thriller daringly depicts the exploits of Reggie, a spoilt young man from a wealthy family. He has no conscience and specialises in all immoral acts, getting together with his friends to seduce girls, who are finally killed after they gang rape them. Reggie's misdeeds reach a peak when he rapes Aswathy, Kumar's wife. Kumar is a teacher, and a well-loved member of their community. This heinous act causes Kumar to commit suicide and raises the ire of everyone in the community. Finally, Reggie's conscience begins to make itself heard, and he starts feeling guilty about his actions. At this point, Reggie gets married to Sophia, an innocent young woman, whom he begins to love. As his mindset changes, Reggie's conscience begins to haunt him with a vengeance, as all his past crimes are brought to the fore. Can he get over his past and begin a peaceful life with Sophia or will his guilt consume him?
