While on a tiger-hunt, two aristocrats, Thakur and Sehgal get into a dispute about who which one of them shot the tiger. This dispute escalates into fisticuffs and a gunfight, with Sehgal getting killed, and Thakur getting seriously wounded.
Sehgal's son swears to avenge his father's death and races over to kill Thakur. Before he could so, Thakur dies. Since then bitterness and anger has existed between these two families.
Years later, Jai Singh Sehgal and Durga Digvijay fall in love with each other. Both Digvijay Thakur and Hari Singh Sehgal are against this marriage. Jai's brother, Vishal, manages to pacify his father, and convinces him that it is in the best interest of both families' that this marriage take place.
Shortly thereafter, Vishal gets killed, and the only persons who could have killed him are the Thakur's men. It is now up to Jai to avenge Vishal's death and sacrifice his love for Durga. Will Jai be able to carry out his duty?
