Chamundeswari (Nagma) is an arrogant rich businesswoman who believes that she can buy anything under the sun with her money. She treats her husband (Parameshwar Rao (Naresh) like a doormat and dominates both father and daughter Maithili (Aarthi Agarwal). Ramakrishna alias Ramu enters her house as a servant and slowly wins over the lady. Everybody in the house likes his innocence and sincerity and soon he is the apple of their eye.
He has a cousin Rukmini (Gajala) who is madly in love with him, but Ramu loves Maithili. When Chamundeswari comes to know about this, she calls her father and five brothers to come and help her to drive Ramu away from the house. Maithili’s marriage is fixed with a minister’s son (Vizag Prasad). When all of them manhandle Ramu, his grandfather enters the scene (K.Viswanath) and reveals his true identity.
Ramu leaves the house swearing to marry Mathili on a particular day, but there is a problem as she is a minor. In the long drawn out climax Ramu takes on Chamundeswari and the thugs. Will he succeed in marrying Maithili?
