This action-oriented socio-political drama delves into the twists and turns in the life of Krishnakumar, an officer on leave from his army assignment who returns home to witness tyranny and corruption at the hands of corrupt police, and even more corrupt and oppressive politicians. He also finds out that his Education Minister father, Balaganghadharan, as well as two brother-in-laws are also part of this system, and he decides to speak out against them. As a result he alienates himself so much so that he is not permitted to attend his sister's marriage which has taken place against her will. As he faces more difficult circumstances and challenges that emerge as a result of his choices, he slowly finds himself cornered from all directions. Finally he is left with two choices – to compromise with his family and lead a harmonious life with the love of his life, or continue to fight his lonely battle against corruption by entering his name in the elections against his very own father and his evil associates - who will go to any lengths to prevent him from winning. Which path will he choose? And what will the consequence of his choice be?
