The four orphans grow up doing menial jobs and lead a carefree existence. Their world revolves only around this market; they do not have any other identity. The boys are mentored by a wise wholesale vegetable vendor who is like a mother to them. They become friends with her daughter, who encourages them to achieve success at some activity, that will gain them a sense of identity and respect in the world.

They pay heed to her advice and start a food-mess that becomes an instant success. However, when problems arise due to the brother of the local mobster, things turn ugly.
