Errors in Geography
Referring to Tina having come from London, she studied at the University of Oxford though it is in the city of Oxford, not London.

Continuity
Tina reaches a clean stage after the Koi Mil Gaya song at the end of which the stage is covered with rotten tomatoes.
Trivia:
Director Karan Johar wanted Rani Mukerji to be dubbed due to her husky voice, unaware that her voice would become her trademark.

While shooting one of the song sequences where Kajol is riding a bike, she lost control and cut her knee quite badly. Her loss of control can even be seen before the camera cuts out the shot. She hit the ground hard and even lost consciousness for several minutes.

The film is the only Bollywood movie to have won the Filmfare Awards for all the major categories.

Shah Rukh Khan was the one who had encouraged Karan Johar to become a director.

Saif Ali Khan was offered the role of Aman Mehra but turned it down.
