Dhivendra is the son of Maharaj Dhiraj Rana Chandraban of Kailash nagar and he is arranged to wed Rajkumari Chandramukhi of Rajgarh. Chandramukhi is abducted by her kingdom Senapati who forces her to marry him on her consent. Chandramukhi is saved by Dhivendra and both fall in love with each other. Chandramukhi is again captured by Senapati who jails her in his castle and Dhivendra is gravely injured in the process. Dhivendra is treated by Rajlakshmi who falls in love with him, and Dhivendra after regaining some strength learns about Chandramukhi's capture and sets out to free her. Dhivendra is caught by Senapati along with the help of Rajlakshmi whom he had rejected, and Senapati offers Chandramukhi two choices- marry her or witness the death of Dhivendra!
