Kanyadaan (1968)

A Young charming poet Amar kumar falls in love with the most beautiful village damsel Rekha, after initial hesitation she also falls in love with him and decide to marry each other. Amar meets her widow mother for approving their marriage, only to be cruelly rejected and claims that Rekha is already married to someone during childhood. Amar gets heart broken and separates from Rekha, whom he meets at his friends house, working as a maid and learns that he was the one arranged to marry her. He peruses her to leave her past and live with him, but she is bounded by traditions.
