Kamaleswar Mukherjee

Kamaleswar Mukherjee is a Bengali Film director and Ad maker, his best movies were Chander Pahar and Meghe Dhaka Tara. Mukherjee wrote dialogue, screenplay, songs for Amit Sengupta's film Natobor Notout in 2010. Uro Chithi, was his directorial debut in 2011.He won the IFFI Centenary award for the most critically acclaimed film in Bengali film circuit for Meghe Dhaka Tara, he also won Silver Crow Pheasant Award for the Best Director at International Film Festival of Kerala, 2013, NETPAC Award International Film Festival of Kerala, 2013 for the same. Chander Pahar is the second costliest film made in Bengali language and is still the biggest blockbuster in the history of Bengali cinema and it was nominated for Filmfare Awards for Best Director(Bengali) and won Zee Bangla Gourab Somman and Kalakar Awards for Best Director. He also acted in few films like Obhishopto as a news reporter, Khaad as a trekker and in Force. NightyBibhutibhushan Bandopadhyay, Amazon Adventure, Khawto, Mukhomukhi were some of his movies.
