Phil, a shy and lonely guy has dependency issues and he gets addicted to his latest mobile phone which has an upgrade to an unexpected feature called 'Jexi', artificial intelligence life coach that teaches him to live. He begins to get a real-life and becomes less dependent on his phone until Jexi morphs into a technical nightmare determined to keep Phil all to herself, even if it means ruining his chances of finding success.
