Jeeo Aur Jeene Do (1982)

Sita is a doctor and a devoted wife to her Inspector husband Jwala Singh. Jwala gets transferred to an area which is ruled by a dangerous but kind-hearted Dacoit Meherban Singh, who rules the hearts of many poor people. Meherban Singh's wife is pregnant and the only doctor available is Sita who gets abducted by Meherban, agrees to do the operation on the condition that he surrenders to her husband. After much mental conflict Meherban agrees, and Sita manages to save the boy child but not the Mother and assumes the responsibility of grooming the child. Sita is evicted from her home by her husband and mother in law after learning about the child. Sita brings up Vijay, the son of a dacoit into a law preserving inspector who works as the subordinate of commissioner Jwala Singh. Vijay witnesses a picture of Jwala in Sita's Ramayan book, which leads him to question Sita about his past. What happens to Vijay after he learns about his past?? especially after his father Meherban Singh gets released after finishing his prison term.
