Evocative and provocative, this intense drama traces the twists and turns in the life of Jai, a handsome young man. He is the only son of a wealthy widow, who travels all over the world for business-related matters.
Jai meets Farah, the beautiful daughter of a cafe owner and the both of them fall deeply in love. Jai's mother goes to Pakistan for a business deal and clinches an offer of conducting boxing match between India and Pakistan in Hyderabad. She gives the responsibility of managing that event to Jai. After winning the competition, the Pakistani boxer passes derogatory remarks on India and Indians. Jai protests those comments and warns the Pakistani that he would fight with him in the next series of matches and win them to prove India's greatness.
In order to fulfill his promise Jai begins to receive boxing lessons from Farah's. The Pakistani officials and Lashkar-e-Toiba's chief monitor the Jai's progress with their informers in India. They send goons and stab Farah's father. They also hunt for Jai and damage his right fist and rib-cage, so that he would become unfit to fight the boxing match. The doctor tells Jai that he should be bed-ridden for at least 6 months. And the match is just 20 days away. Will Jai be unable to participate in the boxing match? Will he be forced to accept defeat?
