Jagapathi (2005)

This fast-paced crime drama revolves around Jagapati, an orphan who finds employment as a sub inspector of police, but is truly a loyal henchman of the local MLA, Goud (Pradeep Rawat). Jagapati loyally protects the interests of Goud and also provides security to him, while turning the police station into a bar and forcing the constables serve liquor.

In a fateful twist, he meets Lavanya, a beautiful young woman and falls truly in love with her. To his shock however, Lavanya turns out to be the widow of Murari, one of the numerous men Jagapati had murdered with his own hands. Will Jagapati recognise the error of his ways and seek redemption? How will his relationship with Lavanya unfold?
