The disappearance of a twelve-year-old Justin Whitter causes a major shock in a perfect small town. Greg Harper is a lead investigator on the case and he struggles to find a balance between digging up a similar case from the past and finding a way to forgive his wife for her infidelity. The investigation puts a major strain on his family when a malicious presence manifests itself and puts their young son Connor in danger and the cold truths about the evil present in the Harper family are finally exposed.
