GK Vishnu is an Indian film cinematographer. He started his career doing designs and graphics freelancing. His curiosity towards lights persuaded him to experiment photography and kindled his interest over cinematography. Vishnu made his debut in the Tamil movie "Mersal" directed by Atlee Kumar, starring Vijay, Kajal Aggarwal, Nithya Menon and Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the lead. Earlier Vishnu assisted cinematographer Richard M Nathan in movies Samar, Vanakkam Chennai and Naan Sigappu Manithan. He has also assisted with the legendary PS Vinod.
