Set in 1962 Taiwan during the White Terror martial law period, Fang Ray Shin, a female student falls in love with her teacher Mr. Chang in a period where sensitive books were banned and free speech was restricted. Mr. Chang secretly organizes a study group for banned books with fellow teacher Miss Yin and male student Wei Chong Ting. On a particular day Mr. Chang disappears, Ray Shin and Chong Ting wake up in the middle of night trapped in their empty school which is filled with demons. They must find a way to survive, find their missing teacher and confront the horrific truth about their school.
