Edie (2018)

In the months following her husband George’s death, Edie, an 83-year-old is a bitter and gruff woman shares a strained relationship with her daughter Nancy which begins to worsen by time. She tries hard to convince her daughter that she can manage fine by herself as Nancy makes plans for her mother to move into a retirement home. Fearing that she will die with all the regrets of her past and due to her marriage to a very difficult and controlling man who made her stay at home after thirty years later, she decides to make the trip herself on her own to climb the imposing Mount Suilven in Scotland.
