Owing to his personal pressure of his store not making profits and his father needing a huge sum of money for his brain surgery, an aphrodisiac peddler agrees to smuggle and sell a cheap generic Indian drug against chronic myelogenous leukemia in China. As more chronic myelogenous leukemia patients start to buy drugs from him, Cheng becomes rich and his problems are pushed away for the time being. The Chinese police learn about the availability of the contraband Geliening and the original company sues the Indian company for infringement of its patent and Cheng's life hangs in the balance again.
