Dolores Huerta

Dolores Clara Fernandez Huerta was born on the 10th of April 1930. She is an American labor leader and civil rights activist who was the co-founder of the National Farmworkers Association, (United Farm Workers (UFW)). She helped organize the Delano grape strike in 1965 and was the lead negotiator in the workers' contract that was created post the strike.
