Dil Ki Rani (1947)

Madhav is a poet who sings on radio and Rajkumari who happens to hear him sing on radio falls in love with his voice and persuades her father to publish her poems to improve readership. They meet and eventually fall in love with each other much to her fathers dismay and he plans to seperate the two of them. A series of plans are devised to separate Madhav and Rajkumari and one point due to some threats from rajkumari's family friend, he decides to make rajkumari hate him and rajkumari understands his reasons and finds out about her father's plans. They both reconcile!
