Deadpool meets Russell, an angry teenage mutant who lives at an orphanage. When the kid becomes the target of Cable who is a genetically enhanced soldier from the future. Deadpool realizes that he will need some help to save the boy from such a superior enemy. He soon forms a team of fellow mutants to protect the young boy.
